DOMESTIC VIOLENCE - www.refuge.org.uk and 24-hour National Domestic Violence Helpline FREEPHONE 0808 2000 247     The Helpline is run in partnership between Refuge and Women's Aid and is available seven days a week for women experiencing domestic violence. Calls are confidential and are handled by fully-trained female workers who provide support, information and a listening ear. Abused women and their children can gain access to a network of refuges across the UK via this helpline.

FEGANS CHILD and FAMILY CARE - www.fegans.org.uk    Child focussed with the priority being on their wellbeing. Working in the community, mainly within Kent and East Sussex, they undertake counselling services, child and family support, pre-school facilities, schools work and training. They underline the value of the family, working with parents, or those with parental responsibility, especially in times of crisis.

RELATE - www.relate.org.uk     A statutory body that deals with relationship crisis and providing couple counselling. Also, under the name RELATEEN, provides a service for young people.
